The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ God's command comes; so seek not to hasten it. Glory be to Him! High be He exalted above that they associate with Him! 1 He doth send down His angels with inspiration of His Command, to such of His servants as He pleaseth, (saying): "Warn (Man) that there is no god but I: so do your duty unto Me." 2 He hath created the heavens and the earth with a purpose. Exalted is He above that which they associate. 3 Man He created from a drop of semen; and still he becomes an open contender. 4 And the cattle hath He created, whence ye have warm clothing and uses, and whereof ye eat; 5 And in them is your elegance, when you bring them home at evening, and when you leave them to graze. 6 and they carry your loads to many a place which you would be unable to reach without much hardship. Surely your Lord is Intensely Loving, Most Merciful. 7 He created horses, mules, and donkeys for you to ride and as a means of beauty. He has also created things that you do not know. 8 It is for Allah to show the way. Some swerve from it, but had He willed, He would have guided all of you. 9
