The pious ones will receive a beautiful Paradise from their Lord. 34 What! shall We then make (that is, treat) those who submit as the guilty? 35 What is the matter with you? How could you judge this to be so? 36 Or have ye a book through which ye learn- 37 That you shall have all that you choose? 38 Or have ye oaths from Us reaching to the Day of Resurrection, that you shall be that which ye judge? 39 Ask them which of them is able to vouch for this! 40 Have they associate gods? Then let them produce their associate gods if they say sooth! 41 On the Day when the truth shall be laid bare, they will be called upon to prostrate themselves, but they will not be able to do so. 42 Their eyes humbled, humiliation will cover them. And they used to be invited to prostration while they were sound. 43 Then leave Me Alone with such as belie this Quran. We shall punish them gradually from directions they perceive not. 44 And I will give them respite; indeed My plan is very solid. 45 Or, do you ask them for a wage, so that they are burdened with debt? 46 Or that the Unseen is in their hands, so that they can write it down? 47 So be patient with the judgement of your Lord and do not be like the Companion of the Whale (Jonah), when he called out choking inwardly. 48 Had not grace from his Lord reached him, he had surely been cast into the wilderness in a plight. 49 But his Lord chose him and placed him among the righteous. 50 The unbelievers wellnigh strike thee down with their glances, when they hear the Reminder, and they say, 'Surely he is a man possessed!' 51 although this is nothing but an Exhortation (to goodness) for everyone in the world. 52
