The Comet (Al-Taareq)

17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the heaven and the Morning Star 1 And what shall make thee know that which the night-comer is? 2 - The piercing Star! 3 There is no soul but has a protector over it. 4 So man must consider from what he has been created. 5 He was created of spurting water 6 Emerging from between the backbone and the ribs. 7 Surely He is able to bring him back 8 On the Day when secrets are disclosed, 9 he shall have no power, and no helper. 10 By the heaven which returneth, 11 And the earth splitting (with plants); 12 Indeed, the Qur'an is a decisive statement, 13 it is no merriment. 14 Verily, they are but plotting a plot (against you O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)). 15 And I (too) will make a scheme. 16 So respite the unbelievers; delay with them awhile. 17

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
