T H (Taa Haa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ O MAN! 1 We have not Sent down on thee the Qur'an that thou shouldst be distressed. 2 only as reminder for those who have fear (of disobeying God). 3 a revelation from Him who has created the earth and the high heavens 4 (Allah) Most Gracious is firmly established on the throne (of authority). 5 To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth, and whatever lies in between them, and all that lies under the ground. 6 And if you utter the saying aloud, then surely He knows the secret, and what is yet more hidden. 7 Allah - there is no god but He. His are the most excellent names. 8 And did the news of Moosa reach you? 9 When he saw a fire and said to his family, "Stay here; indeed, I have perceived a fire; perhaps I can bring you a torch or find at the fire some guidance." 10 So when he came near the fire, it was announced, “O Moosa!” 11 "Verily I am thy Lord! therefore (in My presence) put off thy shoes: thou art in the sacred valley Tuwa. 12 "I have chosen thee: listen, then, to the inspiration (sent to thee). 13 Indeed, I am Allah. There is no deity except Me, so worship Me and establish prayer for My remembrance. 14 "Verily, the Hour is coming and My Will is to keep it hidden that every person may be rewarded for that which he strives. 15 Do not let anyone who does not believe in it and follows his own desires turn you away from it and so bring you to ruin." 16 What is that in your right hand, Moses' 17 'It is my staff," Moses replied, "upon it I lean and with it I beat down leaves to feed my sheep and for me there are other uses in it' 18 He said: 'Moses, cast it down' 19 So he threw it down, and thereupon it was a snake, moving swiftly. 20 He said: Take hold of it and fear not; We will restore it to its former state: 21 “And put your hand inside your armpit – it will come out shining white, not due to any illness – one more sign.” 22 “In order that We may show you Our great signs.” 23 Go to the Pharaoh; he has become a rebel." 24
