Exalted is He who put constellations in the heavens, a radiant lamp and an illuminating moon -- 61 And it is He Who made the Night and the Day to follow each other: for such as have the will to celebrate His praises or to show their gratitude. 62 And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say [words of] peace, 63 And those who spend [part of] the night to their Lord prostrating and standing [in prayer] 64 who say, 'Our Lord, turn Thou from us the chastisement of Gehenna; surely its chastisement is torment most terrible; 65 it is an evil settling, and an evil residence' 66 And those, who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor niggardly, but hold a medium (way) between those (extremes). 67 and who never invoke any [imaginary] deity side by side with God, and do not take any human beings life - [the life] which God has willed to be sacred - otherwise than in [the pursuit of] justice, and do not commit adultery. And [know that] he who commits aught thereof shall [not only] meet with a full requital 68 The punishment shall be increased for him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will remain in it forever, with humiliation. 69 Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous work. For them Allah will replace their evil deeds with good. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful. 70 And whosoever repenteth and doeth good, he verily repenteth toward Allah with true repentance - 71 And [know that true servants of God are only] those who never bear witness to what is false, and [who,] whenever they pass by [people engaged in] frivolity, pass on with dignity; 72 who, when reminded of the revelations of their Lord, do not try to ignore them as though deaf and blind. Rather, they try to understand and think about them. 73 And who submit, “Our Lord, soothe our eyes with our wives and our children, and make us leaders of the pious.” 74 They will all receive Paradise as their reward for their forbearance and patience, where they will be greeted with, "Peace be with you." 75 Dwelling therein;- how beautiful an abode and place of rest! 76 Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him) “You have no value before My Lord if you do not worship Him; so you have denied therefore the punishment that remains, will occur.” 77
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
