In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By those (angels) ranged in ranks (or rows). 1 And by oath of those who herd with a stern warning. 2 And thus proclaim the Message (of Allah)! 3 Verily your God is One, 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, and the Lord of the Easts. 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the planets, 6 and have made them secure against every rebellious, satanic force, 7 they listen not to the High Council, for they are pelted from every side, 8 driven away, and will suffer eternal punishment. 9 Except him who snatcheth away a word by stealth, and him then pursueth a glowing flame. 10 (Muhammad), ask them, "Have they (people) been created stronger than what We have created?" We have created them from moist clay. 11 No wonder you are surprised as they laugh with scorn. 12 and, when reminded, do not remember 13 And when they see an Ayah (a sign, a proof, or an evidence) from Allah, they mock at it. 14 And say, "This is not but obvious magic. 15 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we indeed be raised up? 16 Will our forefathers also be brought to life again?" 17 Say: 'Yes, but worthless' 18 The Day of Judgment will come within a single roar and they will remain gazing at it. 19 and they will say: 'Woe for us. This is the Day of Recompense' 20 'This is the Day of Decision, even that you cried lies to. 21

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
