"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 (Their greeting will be): "Enter ye here in peace and security." 46 And We shall purge their breasts of all traces of rancour; and they shall be seated on couches facing one another as brothers. 47 No weariness shall ever touch them in this [state of bliss,] and never shall they have to forgo it. 48 ۞ (O Prophet), declare to My servants that I am indeed Ever Forgiving, Most Merciful. 49 and that My chastisement is the painful chastisement. 50 And tell them about Abraham's guests. 51 When they entered upon him, they said, Peace. He said: Surely we are afraid of you. 52 They (the angels) said: "Do not be afraid! We give you glad tidings of a boy (son) possessing much knowledge and wisdom." 53 He said: "Do ye give me glad tidings that old age has seized me? Of what, then, is your good news?" 54 They said, “We have given you true tidings, therefore do not lose hope.” 55 Abraham said: "Who despairs of the Mercy of his Lord except the misguided?" 56 [Abraham] said, "Then what is your business [here], O messengers?" 57 They said, “We have been sent towards a guilty nation.” 58 Except for Lot's household, all of whom we shall rescue, 59 Except his wife." Allah decreed that she is of those who remain behind. 60
