۞ God commands (people) to maintain justice, kindness, and proper relations with their relatives. He forbids them to commit indecency, sin, and rebellion. God gives you advice so that perhaps you will take heed. 90 And fulfill the covenant of Allah when you have made a covenant, and do not break the oaths after making them fast, and you have indeed made Allah a surety for you; surely Allah knows what you do. 91 And do not be like she who untwisted her spun thread after it was strong [by] taking your oaths as [means of] deceit between you because one community is more plentiful [in number or wealth] than another community. Allah only tries you thereby. And He will surely make clear to you on the Day of Resurrection that over which you used to differ. 92 If God had willed, He would have made you one nation; but He leads astray whom He will, and guides whom He will; and you will surely be questioned about the things you wrought. 93 Do not use your oaths to deceive each other lest any foot should slip after being firmly placed and lest you should taste the penalty for having hindered others from the path of God, for then you will have a terrible punishment. 94 Do not sell the covenant of Allah for a trifling price. What is with Allah is better for you if you but knew. 95 Whatever you have will end, but what Allah has is lasting. And We will surely give those who were patient their reward according to the best of what they used to do. 96 All righteously believing male or female will be granted a blessed happy life and will receive their due reward and more. 97 (Muhammad), when you recite the Quran, seek refuge in God from the mischief of satan. 98 Verily! He has no power over those who believe and put their trust only in their Lord (Allah). 99 His power is only over those who make a friend of him, and those who ascribe partners unto Him (Allah). 100
