Pray, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, if You should bring the scourge of which they had been warned in my presence, 93 "My Lord! Then (save me from Your Punishment), and put me not amongst the people who are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doing)." 94 We have certainly the power to make you see what We have promised them. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We know that which they describe. 96 And say "O my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee from the suggestions of the Evil Ones. 97 I even seek Your refuge, my Lord, lest they should approach me." 98 Until, when death comes to one of them (those who join partners with Allah), he says: "My Lord! Send me back, 99 that I have left behind. I am likely to do good." Nay, it is merely a word that he is uttering. There is a barrier behind all of them (who are dead) until the Day when they will be raised up. 100 And when the Horn is blown, on that Day their ties of kindred shall be no more, nor will they ask each other. 101 then those whose scales weigh heavy with good works will be successful. 102 whereas they whose weight is light in the balance - it is they who will have squandered their own selves, [destined] to abide in hell: 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they will remain dejected in it. 104 “Were not My verses recited to you, so you used to deny them?” 105 They will say, "Our Lord, our wretchedness overcame us, and we were a people astray. 106 Get us out of this, O Lord. If we transgress we will surely be sinful." 107 He will say: "Remain condemned in it, and do not speak to Me. 108 There was a group of my servants among you who always prayed: Lord, forgive us and grant us mercy; You are the best of those who show mercy. 109 But you made a laughing stock of them to the point where it made you forget My remembrance; and you went on laughing at them. 110 [But,] behold, today I have rewarded them for their patience in adversity: verily, it is they, they who have achieved a triumph!" 111 And He will ask: 'How many years did you live on earth' 112 They will reply: 'A day, or part of a day; ask those who have kept count' 113 He will say: "Ye stayed not but a little,- if ye had only known! 114 "Do you imagine that We created you without any purpose and that you would not be brought back to Us?" 115 So exalted be Allah, the True King! there is no god but he, Lord of the Throne honoured. 116 He who invokes any other god along with Allah " one for whom he has no evidence" his reckoning is with his Lord alone. Indeed, these unbelievers shall not prosper. 117 And say: O my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 118
