Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
60 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf) before Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those that winnow with a winnowing 1 and the burden-bearers 2 And those that flow with ease and gentleness; 3 Then those (angels who) distribute blessings by Our command; 4 that what you are promised is certainly true 5 and, verily, judgment is bound to come! 6 By the heaven full of paths. 7 Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Quran). 8 perverted in his views thereon is he who would deceive himself! 9 Perish will those who just guess and speculate, 10 Those who (flounder) heedless in a flood of confusion: 11 They ask; "When will be the Day of Recompense?" 12 It will be the Day when they are tormented at the Fire. 13 [and will be told:] "Taste this your trial! It is this that you were so hastily asking for!" 14 Indeed the pious are among Gardens and water springs. 15 joyously receiving what their Lord will have granted them. Verily they did good works before (the coming of this Day): 16 They slept little in the night, 17 And ere the dawning of each day would seek forgiveness, 18 and sharing their possessions with the beggars and the deprived. 19 There are many Signs on earth for those of sure faith, 20 As also in your own selves: Will ye not then see? 21 And in heaven is your Sustenance, as (also) that which ye are promised. 22 And by the Lord of the heavens and the earth! it is most surely the truth, just as you do speak. 23

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
