Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
(I swear) by the snorting chargers (of the warriors), whose hoofs strike against the rocks 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 And therein raising dust. 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
