And assuredly unto the household of Fir'awn came the warning. 41 They, too, rejected all Our signs. So We seized them with the seizure of One Mighty, Omnipotent. 42 Are your disbelievers better than they were, or have you been given exemption in the Books? 43 Or do they say: We are a host allied together to help each other? 44 (Let them know that) this united group will soon run away in defeat. 45 In fact their promise is upon the Last Day – and the Last Day is very severe and very bitter! 46 Surely the sinners are in error and insanity! 47 On the Day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire, (it will be said to them): 'Taste the touch of the Scorching' 48 Surely We have created everything according to a measure. 49 And Our command is but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We have already destroyed your kinds, so is there any who will remember? 51 And every thing they did is in the scriptures, 52 Every matter, small and great, is on record. 53 Verily, The Muttaqun (pious), will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers (Paradise). 54 In the seat of honor with a most Powerful King. 55
