Al-Naml 6 of 7
The unbelievers have said, "Shall we and our fathers be brought out of the graves after we become dust? 67 We were promised this, forsooth, we and our fathers. (All) this is naught but fables of the men of old. 68 Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of the criminals." 69 Do not grieve over them, nor feel distressed at their schemes. 70 They ask, "When will this promise be fulfilled, if what you say be true?" 71 say thou: "It may well be that something of that which [in your ignorance] you so hastily demand has already drawn close unto you." 72 And verily thine Lord is full of grace for mankind, but most of them give not thanks. 73 And indeed, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they declare. 74 for there is nothing [so deeply] hidden in the heavens or on earth but is recorded in [His] clear decree. 75 Surely, this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that which they are at variance. 76 It is a guidance and a mercy to believers. 77 Verily thy Lord will decide between them by His Decree: and He is Exalted in Might, All-Knowing. 78 Trust in God for you follow the manifest truth. 79 Verily thou canst not make the dead hear, nor canst thou make the deaf hear the call when they flee turning their backs. 80 nor can you direct the blind to the Right Way, preventing them from falling into error. You can make only those who believe in Our verses to hear the call and then submit. 81 ۞ And when the word is fulfilled concerning them, We shall bring forth a beast of the earth to speak unto them because mankind had not faith in Our revelations. 82

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
