And We created not the heaven and the earth and all that is between them in vain. That is the opinion of those who disbelieve. And woe unto those who disbelieve, from the Fire! 27 Shall We treat those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, as Mufsidun (those who associate partners in worship with Allah and commit crimes) on earth? Or shall We treat the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2), as the Fujjar (criminals, disbelievers, wicked, etc)? 28 This is a blessed Book which We sent down to you [Muhammad], for people to ponder over its messages, and for those with understanding to take heed. 29 And to David We gave Solomon. An excellent servant, indeed he was one repeatedly turning back [to Allah]. 30 When his dressage steeds were presented to him in the evening, 31 He said: verily I have loved the love of earthly good above the remembrance of my Lord until the sun hath disappeared behind the veil. 32 "Bring them back to me!" -- [he said] and began to stroke their legs and their necks. 33 We surely tried Solomon, and placed another body on his throne. So he turned to God 34 saying, "Lord, forgive me and grant me a kingdom that no one after me can have the like. You are All-munificent". 35 We made the wind subservient to him, to blow gently wherever he desired at his command 36 And also the Shayatin (devils) from the jinns (including) every kind of builder and diver, 37 And others bound in fetters. 38 'This is Our gift, give or withhold without reckoning' 39 And indeed, for him is nearness to Us and a good place of return. 40
