Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I am only a warner, and there is no Allah save Allah, the One, the Absolute, 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them, the Most Mighty, the Most Forgiving.” 66 Say: “This is a tiding of tremendous import 67 from which you turn away. 68 I had no knowledge of the High Council when they disputed. 69 Only this has been revealed to me that I am a distinct warner. 70 When your Lord said to the angels: “Verily I am creating a human being from clay. 71 "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him." 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 Saving Iblis; he was scornful and became one of the disbelievers. 74 Said (God): "O Iblis, what hindered you from adoring what I created by My own authority? Are you too proud, or too high and mighty?" 75 Said he, 'I am better than he; Thou createdst me of fire, and him Thou createdst of clay.' 76 (Allah) said: "Then get out from here, for verily, you are outcast. 77 And lo! My curse is on thee till the Day of Judgment. 78 He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. 79 He said: “You are of those who have been granted respite 80 Until the Day of the time appointed. 81 He said: Then, by Thy might, I surely will beguile them every one, 82 [all] save such of them as are truly Thy servants!" 83 He (Allah) said: 'This is the truth, and I speak the truth: 84 I will fill up Hell with you together with those who follow you." 85 Say: 'I ask of you no wage for it, neither am I of those who take things upon themselves. 86 This is only a warning for mankind. 87 You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” 88
