Did you not see those who dispute concerning the signs of Allah? Where are they being diverted? 69 they who give the lie to this divine writ and [thus] to all [the messages] with which We sent forth Our apostles [of old]? But in time they will come to know [how blind they have been: they will know it on Judgment Day,] 70 When the yokes (shall be) round their necks, and the chains; they shall be dragged along- 71 boiling water, and cast into the Fire. 72 It will then be said to them: “Where are those whom you 73 “As rivals to Allah?”; they will say, “We have lost them – in fact we never used to worship anything before!”; this is how Allah sends the disbelievers astray. 74 That is because you exulted in the land unjustly and because you behaved insolently. 75 Enter the gates of Hell to stay therein forever. The abode of the arrogant is evil. 76 So be patient, (O Prophet). Surely Allah's promise is true. Whether We show them a part of the woeful consequences against which We warn them (while you are still in their midst) or We recall you (from this world) before that, eventually it is to Us that they shall be brought back. 77 Assuredly We have sent apostles before thee, of them are these whose story We have recounted unto thee and these whose story We have not recounted unto thee. And it was not possible for any apostle that he should bring a sign save by Allah's leave. So when the commade of Allah cometh, judgment will be given with truth, and then will lose the followers of falsehood. 78
