Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Blessed be He in whose hand is the Kingdom -- He is powerful over everything -- 1 The One Who created death and life to test you – who among you has the better deeds; and He only is the Most Honourable, the Oft Forgiving. 2 Who has created the seven heavens one above another, you can see no fault in the creations of the Most Beneficent. Then look again: "Can you see any rifts?" 3 Then look again and yet again, your sight will return to you in a state of humiliation and worn out. 4 And assuredly We have bedecked the nearest heaven with lamps, and We have made them missiles for satans: and for them We have gotten ready the torment of the Blaze. 5 For those who believe not in their Lord there is the punishment of Hell; and what a wretched destination 6 When they are cast into it they will hear it sighing, the while it boils 7 As though it would burst with fury. Every time a crowd is thrown into it, its wardens will ask: "Did no warner come to you?" 8 They will say, “Yes, why not – indeed a Herald of Warning did come to us – in response we denied and said ‘Allah has not sent down anything – you are not except in a great error’.” 9 And they say: Had we been wont to listen or have sense, we had not been among the dwellers in the flames. 10 Thus will they confess their sins. Damned are these inmates of the Blazing Fire. 11 Surely forgiveness and a mighty reward await those who fear Allah without seeing Him. 12 And whether ye hide your word or publish it, He certainly has (full) knowledge, of the secrets of (all) hearts. 13 What! Will He Who has created not know? Whereas He knows every detail, the All Aware! 14

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
