He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ (The Prophet (Peace be upon him)) frowned and turned away, 1 Because the blind man had come in his august presence. 2 How could you know? Perhaps he would cleanse himself, 3 Or take heed and so the reminder might avail him? 4 Now he who waxes indifferent, 5 To him you give attention. 6 And no blame is on you if he would not purify himself 7 But as for he who came to you striving [for knowledge] 8 and fearfully, 9 Of him wast thou unmindful. 10 By no means! Verily it is an admonition. 11 So whosoever willeth - let him be admonished therewlth. 12 It is contained in scrolls highly honoured, 13 Exalted and holy, 14 [borne] by the hands of messengers 15 Honourable and Pious and Just. 16 Perish the human! How unthankful he is! 17 From what did He create him? 18 From Nutfah (male and female semen drops) He created him, and then set him in due proportion; 19 Then He makes the Path easy for him; 20 and in the end He causes him to die and brings him to the grave; 21 and then, whenever He wishes, He will raise him back to life. 22 Yet man declines to do His bidding. 23 Then let man look to his food, 24 That We pour down the water, pouring (it) down in abundance, 25 and then We cleaved the earth asunder. 26 and thereupon We cause grain to grow out of it, 27 And grapes and vegetables 28 And olive-trees and palm-trees 29 And gardens of dense shrubbery 30 And fruits and fodder: 31 for you and for your herds to delight in. 32 When the trumpet sounds, 33 On the Day a man will flee from his brother 34 And his mother and his father 35 And from his wife and his children. 36 for on that day everyone will be completely engrossed in his own concerns. 37 Many a face will be glittering on that day. 38 Laughing and full of joy, 39 And other faces that Day will be dust-stained, 40 and veiled with darkness. 41 These are they who are unbelievers, the wicked. 42
Almighty God's Truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
