Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the snorting, panting horses, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
