۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 In a Book well-guarded (with Allah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 do you make it your provision to belie it? 82 Why can you not help a soul dying 83 And ye are then looking on. 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 For him shall be comfort, and fragrance and a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security. 91 But, if he is of those who belied, and went astray, 92 then he will be served boiling water, 93 And roasting in a Blaze. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96
