Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

But nay! I swear by all that ye see 38 and what you do not see 39 most surely, this is the word brought by a noble messenger, 40 and is not - however little you may [be prepared to] believe it - the word of a poet; 41 nor is it the work of a soothsayer but only a few of you take heed. 42 [it is] a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein. 46 Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath). 47 And surely it is an admonition to the God-fearing. 48 We know very well that there are some among you who reject Our signs -- 49 But truly (Revelation) is a cause of sorrow for the Unbelievers. 50 And verily it is the truth of assured certainty. 51 So glorify your Lord, the most supreme. 52

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
