If only you could see the evil-doers hanging their heads in shame before their Lord, "Our Lord, we have seen and we have heard, so send us back again and we will act rightly. For we do indeed now believe." 12 And had We listed surely We could have given every soul its guidance; but true must be the word from Me; I shall surely fill Hell with the jinn and mankind together. 13 Then taste you (the torment of the Fire) because of your forgetting the Meeting of this Day of yours, (and) surely! We too will forget you, so taste you the abiding torment for what you used to do. 14 Only those believe in Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), who, when they are reminded of them fall down prostrate, and glorify the Praises of their Lord, and they are not proud. ۩ 15 They forsake their beds, calling upon their Lord in fear and in hope, and spend out of what We have provided them with. 16 And [as for all such believers,] no human being can imagine what blissful delights, as yet hidden, await them [in the life to come] as a reward for all that they did. 17 Is he then who is a believer like him who is a transgressor? They are not equal. 18 As for those who believe and do good, the gardens are their abiding-place; an entertainment for what they did. 19 And those who are lawless – their destination is the fire; whenever they wish to come out of it, they will be returned into it, and it will be said to them, “Taste the punishment of the fire you used to deny!” 20 And We shall indeed make them taste the smaller punishment before the greater punishment, so that they may return. 21 And who does more wrong than he who is reminded of the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of his Lord, then he turns aside therefrom? Verily, We shall exact retribution from the Mujrimun (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, etc.). 22
