Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
I swear by Ya Sin 1 Consider this Qur'an full of wisdom: 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 on a Straight Way, 4 (and this Qur'an) is a revelation from the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate 5 That thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were not warned; so they are negligent. 6 The Word has been realised against most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that they cannot bow their heads 8 and We have put a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and have covered them up, so they are unable to see. 9 It is the same to them whether you warn them or you warn them not, they will not believe. 10 Thou canst warn only him who followeth the admonition and feareth the Compassionate, unseen. So bear thou unto him the glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous hire. 11 Verily We shall give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We taken account in a clear Book (of evidence). 12
