And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
