۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 And lo! that verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew - 76 Behold, it is a truly noble discourse, 77 in a hidden Book 78 which none shall touch except the purified; 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 And you make its denial your share? 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 And ye are then looking on. 84 But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,- 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 Then if the dying one is of those having proximity, – 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 But if one happens to be of those who are wont to call the truth a lie, and [thus] go astray, 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 And the roasting in Hell. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
