The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting courses, 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
Almighty Allah's Truth.
