1/2 Hizb 45

۞ (God will command the angels), "Gather together the unjust, their spouses, and what they had worshipped 22 Other than God," (the angels will be told), "then show them the way to Hell, 23 "But stop them, for they must be asked: 24 What aileth you that ye help not one another? 25 But they, that Day, are in surrender. 26 And they will advance toward each other mutually questioning. 27 Saying: "It were you who imposed yourselves upon us." 28 They answer: Nay, but ye (yourselves) were not believers. 29 we had no power over you; but you yourselves were a rebellious people. 30 The sentence of our Lord has come true for us. We have certainly to taste (the punishment), 31 Therefore we perverted you, and we ourselves were perverts.' 32 So indeed they, that Day, will be sharing in the punishment. 33 As such We shall deal with the evildoers. 34 Whenever it was said to them: “There is no true deity apart from Allah,” they waxed proud 35 and said, "Should we give up our idols for the sake of an insane poet". 36 Not in the least. He has brought the truth and confirmed the other messengers. 37 Verily ye are going to taste a torment afflictive. 38 “And you will not be compensated except for your deeds.” 39 But for the sincere worshipers of Allah, 40 For them awaits a known provision, 41 fruits -- and they high-honoured 42 in gardens of bliss, 43 sitting face to face upon couches, 44 a goblet from a spring shall be passed round to them 45 White, delicious to those who drink. 46 Free from headiness; nor will they suffer intoxication therefrom. 47 And with them will be chaste females, restraining their glances (desiring none except their husbands), with wide and beautiful eyes. 48 Like sheltered eggs in a nest. 49 They advance one upon another, asking each other questions. 50 One of them will say: 'I had a companion 51 Who said: What! are you indeed of those who accept (the truth)? 52 When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, shall we be recompensed?" 53 He says, 'Are you looking down?' 54 Then he will look and see him in the midst of the Fire. 55 He will say to his friend in hell, "By God, you almost destroyed me. 56 "Had it not been for the Grace of my Lord, I would certainly have been among those brought forth (to Hell)." 57 So, are we not going to die, 58 except for our first death? And shall we suffer no chastisement?'” 59 Lo! this is the supreme triumph. 60 for which one must strive hard. 61 Is this better or the tree of Zaqqum 62 We have made this tree a trial for the wrong-doers. 63 It is a tree that grows at the bottom of Hell. 64 and its fruits are like the heads of devils. 65 They will eat from it and fill their bellies with it; 66 Then on top of it they will have a brew of boiling water. 67 And afterward, lo! their return is surely unto hell. 68 They indeed found their fathers astray, 69 So they hastily follow their footsteps! 70 yet before them most of the ancients went astray, 71 And verily We sent among them warners. 72 So behold what wise hath been the end of those who were warned. 73 Except the chosen slaves of Allah (faithful, obedient, and true believers of Islamic Monotheism). 74
