Say thou: I am but warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer. 65 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the most Forgiving. 66 Say: "That (this Quran) is a great news, 67 Ye are therefrom averting. 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted assembly [of angels] when they were disputing [the creation of Adam]. 69 This alone is revealed to me, that I am only a clear warner.' 70 (Remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Truly, I am going to create man from clay". 71 "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him." 72 Then the angels bowed before him in a body, 73 Except Iblis; he was proud and was, from the beginning, a disbeliever. 74 God said, "Satan, what prevented you from prostrating yourself to what I created with My own Hands? Were you overcome by arrogance, or are you of those who think [only] of themselves as exalted?" 75 (Iblis) said: "I am better than he: thou createdst me from fire, and him thou createdst from clay." 76 He said: Go forth from hence, for lo! thou art outcast, 77 My condemnation will be with you until the Day of Judgment!" 78 But Satan said, "My Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection," 79 so He said, "You are granted respite 80 Until the Day of the time appointed. 81 [Iblees] said, "By your might, I will surely mislead them all 82 Except Thy servants from among them, the purified ones. 83 Said He, 'This is the truth, and the truth I say; 84 I will certainly fill the Gehenna with you and with all those among them who follow you.” 85 Say: 'I ask of you no wage for it, neither am I of those who take things upon themselves. 86 "This is no less than a Message to (all) the Worlds. 87 And ye will come in time to know the truth thereof. 88
