Jinns (Al-Jinn)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Say: 'It is revealed to me that a party of jinn listened then said: "We have indeed heard a wonderful Koran, 1 It guides to the right course, and we have believed in it. And we will never associate with our Lord anyone. 2 He -- exalted be our Lord's majesty! has not taken to Himself either consort or a son. 3 The ignorant fool among us has spoken outrageously against Allah, 4 We thought that no man or jinn could ever tell lies about God. 5 And persons among humankind have been seeking refuge with persons of the jinn, so that they increased them in evil disposition. 6 so much so that they came to think, as you [once] thought, that God would never [again] send forth anyone [as His apostle]. 7 "We went near the heavens but found it to be full of strong guards and shooting flames. 8 And we were wont to sit on seats therein to listen; but whosoever listeneth now findeth for him a dartin meteor in wait. 9 And so we do not know whether evil is intended for those on earth, or whether their Lord intends to guide them. 10 As for us, some of us are righteous and others are not. We have all followed different ways. 11 Indeed, we thought that we should never be able to frustrate God in the earth, neither be able to frustrate Him by flight. 12 And when we heard the Message of guidance, we believed therein; and whosoever believeth in his Lord, he shall fear neither diminution nor wrong. 13 And some of us have surrendered, and some of us have deviated. Those who have surrendered sought rectitude; 14 but as for those who have deviated, they have become firewood for Gehenna!"' 15 If they had followed the right path, We would have provided them with abundant rain -- 16 In order to try them through it. But whoever turns away from the remembrance of his Lord, will be given increasing torment by Him." 17 And the places of worship are only for Allah, so pray not unto anyone along with Allah. 18 When the worshiper of Allah stood supplicating to Him, they swarmed around him (Prophet Muhammad). 19
