Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 He raised high its height, then put it into a right good state. 28 and covered its night with darkness and brought forth from it its day; 29 And the earth, He expanded it after that. 30 after that bringing forth from it its water and its pasture land, 31 and the mountains He set firm, 32 All this was done as a means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 33 On the day when the great calamity comes, 34 the Day when the human will remember what he has worked for, 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 For, unto him who shall have transgressed the bounds of what is right, 37 and preferred the present life, 38 Then indeed hell only is his destination. 39 But, whosoever feared the standing before his Lord and prevented the self from desires, 40 Paradise will be the dwelling. 41 (Muhammad), they ask you, "When will the Hour of Doom come?" 42 What art thou about, to mention it? 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 You (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) are only a warner for those who fear it, 45 On the day that they see it, it will be as though they had not tarried but the latter part of a day or the early part of it. 46
