The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 when the earth shakes off her burdens, 2 And man saith: What aileth her? 3 On that day earth will narrate its news, 4 Because thy Lord will inspire her. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
