Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Hast thou seen him who cries lies to the Doom? 1 That is he who repelleth the orphan, 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 So ruin is to those offerers of prayer – 4 Those who are neglectful of their prayer. 5 Who dissimulate 6 And withhold [simple] assistance. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
