Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Qaf. By the Glorious Qur'an, 1 Rather they were shocked that a Herald of Warning came to them from among themselves, so the disbelievers said, “This is something really strange.” 2 to come back to life after we have died and become dust? That is most improbable!" 3 We know that which the earth takes of them (their dead bodies), and with Us is a Book preserved (i.e. the Book of Decrees). 4 But they deny the Truth when it comes to them: so they are in a confused state. 5 What, have they not beheld heaven above them, how We have built it, and decked it out fair, and it has no cracks? 6 (Have they not seen) how We have spread out the earth, placed on it firm mountains and have made all kinds of flourishing pairs of plants grow? 7 for an insight and a reminder to every penitent servant. 8 and We have sent down from the sky blessed water with which We have brought forth gardens and grain to be harvested, 9 And lofty palm trees having fruit arranged in layers - 10 as sustenance apportioned to men; and by [all] this We bring dead land to life: [and] even so will be [man's] coming-forth from death. 11 The people of Noah denied before them, and the companions of the well and Thamud 12 And the A-ad, and Fir'awn, and the brethren of Lut. 13 And the dwellers of the grove and the people of Tuba; all rejected the apostles, so My threat came to pass. 14 Did We fail to accomplish the first creation? Of course, We did not; We have all power over all things. Yet they are confused about a new creation. 15
