In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I CALL TO WITNESS those who are sent consecutively, 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 And [by] the winds that spread [clouds] 3 And the scattering winds scattering. 4 and by those who reveal revelations (to the prophets) 5 To cut off all excuses or to warn; 6 that whatever with which you have been warned will inevitably come to pass. 7 Then the stars will lose their light. 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 The mountains will be blown away as dust. 10 and when the Messengers' time is set 11 For what day has the term [of all this] been set? 12 For the Day of sorting out (the men of Paradise from the men destined for Hell). 13 And what knowest thou what the Day of Decision is? 14 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 15 Did We not destroy the former peoples? 16 Then caused the latter folk to follow after? 17 As such shall We deal with the sinners. 18 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 19 Did We not create you out of a humble fluid 20 Then We lodged you in a secure place (the womb) 21 until an appointed time? 22 For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things). 23 Ah woe, that Day! to the Rejecters of Truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle. 25 the living and the dead? 26 And We placed high mountains as anchors in it and gave you sweet water to drink. 27 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 28 "Go to what you used to deny; 29 Depart unto the shadow three branched: 30 [But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame." 31 It will throw out sparks as logs of wood 32 like giant fiery ropes! 33 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 34 that Day on which they will not [be able to] utter a word, 35 And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. 38 So if you have a plan, plan against Me (now). 39 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
