And certainly Haroun had said to them before: O my people! you are only tried by it, and surely your Lord is the Beneficent Allah, therefore follow me and obey my order. 90 They replied: 'We will not stop; we will cling to it until Moses returns to us.' 91 (Musa) said: O Haroun! what prevented you, when you saw them going astray, 92 "From following me? Didst thou then disobey my order?" 93 (Aaron) replied: "O son of my mother! Seize (me) not by my beard nor by (the hair of) my head! Truly I feared lest thou shouldst say, 'Thou has caused a division among the children of Israel, and thou didst not respect my word!'" 94 (Moses) said: And what hast thou to say, O Samiri? 95 He said, "I saw what they did not see, so I took a handful [of dust] from the track of the messenger and threw it, and thus did my soul entice me." 96 Musa (Moses) said: "Then go away! And verily, your (punishment) in this life will be that you will say: "Touch me not (i.e. you will live alone exiled away from mankind); and verily (for a future torment), you have a promise that will not fail. And look at your ilah (god), to which you have been devoted. We will certainly burn it, and scatter its particles in the sea." 97 Your God is only Allah, the One other than whom there is no god. He comprehendeth everything in knowledge. 98 Thus relate We unto thee (Muhammad) some tidings of that which happened of old, and We have given thee from Our presence a reminder. 99 Whoever turns aside from it, he shall surely bear a burden on the day of resurrection 100 therein abiding forever; how evil upon the Day of Resurrection that burden for them! 101 The Day the Horn will be blown. And We will gather the criminals, that Day, blue-eyed. 102 They shall whisper among themselves: "You stayed on the earth barely ten days." 103 We know very well what they will say, when the justest of them in the way will say, 'You have tarried only a day.' 104

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
