Shattering (Al-Infitaar)

19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

۞ When the heaven is split asunder, 1 the stars are dispersed, 2 And when the seas are flowed out, 3 and when graves are laid open, 4 A soul will know what it hath sent before (it) and what left behind. 5 O man! What hath made thee careless concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? 7 in whatever form He pleased? 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 And yet, verily, there are ever-watchful forces over you, 10 noble, writers 11 who know whatever you do. 12 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 13 And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire. 14 They will enter it on the Day of Justice. 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 How can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 17 Again, what do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 A day when no soul shall possess aught to succour another soul; that day the Command shall belong unto God. 19

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
