The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 who determined and guided, 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
