Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
The desire to have more of the worldly gains have pre-occupied you so much (that you have neglected remembring God), 1 until you come to the graves. 2 But no, indeed, you shall soon know. 3 Again, no indeed, you shall soon know. 4 Nay, would that you knew with certainty of knowledge (what your attitude will lead to, you would never have acted the way you do). 5 You will surely end up seeing Hell; 6 Again, you shall surely see it with the eye of certainty 7 Then on that day you will surely be asked about the verity of pleasures. 8
