It is He, Who has created for you (the sense of) hearing (ears), sight (eyes), and hearts (understanding). Little thanks you give. 78 It was He who scattered you on the earth, and before Him you shall be gathered. 79 It is He Who gives life and causes death, and He holds mastery over the alternation of night and day. Do you not understand this? 80 Nay, they say the like of what the ancients said: 81 They said, 'What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be indeed raised up? 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before; this is naught but the fairy-tales of the ancients.' 83 Say thou: whose is the earth and whosoever is therein, if you know? 84 They will say, "To Allah." Say, "Then will you not remember?" 85 Say: 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Great Throne' 86 They will say, "[They belong] to Allah." Say, "Then will you not fear Him?" 87 Ask them, "If you have any knowledge, in whose hands is the ownership of all things? Who is the one who gives protection and yet He Himself is never protected?" 88 They will say, 'God's.' Say: 'How then are you bewitched? 89 No, We have brought the truth to them, but they are liars. 90 Allah has not chosen any child, nor any other God along with Him – were it so, each God would have taken away its creation, and each one would certainly wish superiority over the other; Purity is to Allah above all the matters they fabricate. 91 The knower of the absent and the present, too exalted is He for what they associate (with Him)! 92
