۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 and indeed they are enraging us; 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 Thus did We drive them out of their gardens and springs 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh's people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts came in view of each other, Moses' companions said: 'We have been reached' 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We advanced thereto the pursuers. 64 and We delivered Moses and those with him all together; 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
