۞ Say: "O 'Ibadi (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah, verily Allah forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 53 Hence, turn towards your Sustainer [alone] and surrender yourselves unto Him ere the suffering [of death and resurrection] comes upon you, for then you will not be succoured. 54 Follow the best of what has been revealed to you by your Lord before the punishment overtakes you suddenly and you are caught unawares, 55 lest anyone should say, "Alas for me, for having neglected what is due to God, and having been one of those who scoffed!" 56 Or, "If only God had guided me, I would surely have joined the God-fearing." 57 Or [lest] it say when it sees the punishment, "If only I had another turn so I could be among the doers of good." 58 Yes! Verily, there came to you My Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and you denied them, and were proud and were among the disbelievers. 59 And you will see on the Day of Resurrection the fabricators of lies against Allah, with their faces blackened; is not the destination of the haughty in hell? 60 But as for the God-fearing, Allah will deliver them on account of their achievements: no harm shall visit them nor shall they grieve. 61 Allah is Creator of all things, and He is Guardian over all things. 62 For Him only are the keys of the heavens and the earth; and those who denied the signs of Allah – it is they who are the losers. 63
