(O Prophet), did you see him who turned away (from the Path of Allah), 33 And gave a little, then stopped (giving)? 34 Is with him knowledge of the unseen so that he seeth? 35 Did not the news reach him, of that which is mentioned in the Books of Moosa? 36 And Abraham who paid his debt: 37 That no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another 38 And that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives 39 That (the fruit of) his striving will soon come in sight: 40 And afterward he will be repaid for it with fullest payment; 41 that all things in the end shall return to God; 42 And that it is He Who made (you) laugh and made (you) cry? 43 And that it is He Who causeth to die and causeth to live. 44 That He did create in pairs,- male and female, 45 from a discharged living germ 46 and that it is for Him to grant the second life, 47 And that it is He Who has given wealth and contentment? 48 and that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius, 49 that He it is Who destroyed the ancient 'Ad, 50 And the Thamud nor gave them a lease of perpetual life. 51 and the people of Noah before -- certainly they did exceeding evil, and were insolent 52 and the Subverted City He also overthrew, 53 And covered them by that which He covered. 54 Which then of thy Lord's benefits wilt thou doubt? 55 He (Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him) is a Herald of Warning, like the former Heralds of Warning. 56 The Approaching Day has approached. 57 None but God can avert it. 58 Will you, then, wonder at this? 59 Will you laugh at it rather than weep? 60 While you are indulging in varieties. 61 Rather prostrate yourselves before Allah and serve Him. ۩ 62
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
