The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ The Compassionate. 1 has taught the Qur'an, 2 He created man 3 He taught distinctness. 4 The sun and the moon to a reckoning. 5 The stars and the trees prostrate themselves. 6 And the heaven! He hath elevated it, and He hath set the balance. 7 so that you [too, O men,] might never transgress the measure [of what is right]: 8 and weigh with justice, and skimp not in the Balance.) 9 And the earth He has put for the creatures. 10 In which are fruits, and covered dates. 11 and a variety of corn with both husk and grain. 12 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 13 He created the human from clay, like earthenware 14 and jinn from the many colored flames of fire. 15 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 16 He is the Lord of the two easts and the Lord of the two wests. 17 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 18 He unleashed the two seas so that they merge together, 19 Between them is a barrier, which they do not overrun. 20 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 21 There cometh forth from both of them the pearl and coral-stone. 22 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 23 His too are the ships that run, raised up in the sea like land-marks. 24 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 25
