Shattering (Al-Infitaar)

19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

۞ WHEN THE SKY is split asunder, 1 when the planets are scattered, 2 And when the oceans are swept away. 3 and when the graves are overturned 4 Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 Who created you, shaped you, and made you well-proportioned, 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 Not at all – but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 Honorable recorders, 11 who know whatever you do. 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire. 14 They shall enter it on the Day of Recompense 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 18 A day when no soul shall possess aught to succour another soul; that day the Command shall belong unto God. 19
