The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I swear by the early hours of the day, 1 And the night when it covers with darkness. 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 for, indeed, the life to come will be better for thee than this earlier part [of thy life]! 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and then gave you shelter? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 and as for the beggar, scold him not; 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
