Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Have you seen he who belied the Recompense? 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 and who does not urge the feeding of the poor? 3 So woe to those who pray 4 But who are oblivious of their moral duties, 5 Those who do things only to be seen by others. 6 Who are uncharitable even over very small things. 7

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
