The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 When their fellowman Nooh said to them, “Do you not fear?” 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 so fear Allah, and obey me. 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 110 ۞ They said: Shall we believe in you while the meanest follow you? 111 Noah said: "What knowledge do I have about their deeds? 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 'I am naught but a plain warner.' 115 They said: If thou cease not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be among those stoned (to death). 116 He said: "O my Lord! truly my people have rejected me. 117 So pass a clear judgement between me and them and rescue me and the believers with me." 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
