In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Alif Lam Mim. 1 Those are the verses of the Wise Book, 2 A Guide and a Mercy to the Doers of Good,- 3 who establish Prayer and pay Zakah, and have firm faith in the Hereafter. 4 It is they who are on true guidance from their Lord, and it is they who shall prosper. 5 But among men there are some who spend their time in idle diversions only to lead people astray from the path of God, and without knowledge, hold it up to ridicule: for such there is a humiliating punishment in store. 6 And when Our revelations are recited unto him he turneth away in his stiff-neckedness as though he heard them not: as though there was a deafness in his ears. So announce thou unto him a torment afflictive. 7 The righteously striving believers will enter Paradise 8 Abiding in them; the promise of Allah; (a) true (promise), and He is the Mighty, the Wise. 9 He created the heavens without pillars you can see, and He cast on the earth firm mountains, lest it shake with you, and He scattered abroad in it all manner of crawling thing. And We sent down out of heaven water, and caused to grow in it of every generous kind. 10 This is the creation of Allah; shew me that which those beside Him have created. Aye! the wrong-doers are in error manifest. 11
