And He it is Who made for you the ears and the eyes and the hearts; little is it that you give thanks. 78 And He it is Who hath sown you broadcast in the earth, and unto Him ye will be gathered. 79 It is He Who gives life and death, and to Him (is due) the alternation of Night and Day: will ye not then understand? 80 On the contrary, they said the same as what the former people used to say. 81 They say: when we are dead, and have become dust and bones, shall we verily be raised up? 82 "Verily, this we have been promised, we and our fathers before (us)! This is only the tales of the ancients!" 83 Say: "If you have knowledge, 'to whom belongs the earth' and, 'whoever is in it? '" 84 They will quickly reply, "It belongs to God." Say, "Will you not, then, take heed?" 85 Say: 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Great Throne' 86 Thereupon they will say, “Such greatness is only that of Allah”; say, “So why do you not fear?” 87 Say, “In Whose hand is the control over all things, and He provides refuge, and none can provide refuge against Him, if you know?” 88 They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: How then are ye bewitched? 89 Rather, We have brought them the truth, and indeed they are liars. 90 Never did Allah take unto Himself any son, nor is there any god other than He. (Had there been any other gods) each god would have taken his creatures away with him, and each would have rushed to overpower the other. Glory be to Allah from all that they characterize Him with! 91 knowing all that is beyond the reach of a created being's perception as well as all that can be witnessed by a creature's senses or mind and hence, sublimely exalted is He above anything to which they may ascribe a share in His divinity! 92

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
