۞ And those who do not expect the meeting with Us say, "Why were not angels sent down to us, or [why] do we [not] see our Lord?" They have certainly become arrogant within themselves and [become] insolent with great insolence. 21 On the day when the criminals see the angels, there will, certainly, be no rejoicing for them. Rather, they will plead to the angels, "Please keep away from us (do not drive us into hell)." 22 And We turned all the deeds they had performed into scattered floating specks of dust. 23 The Companions of the Garden will be well, that Day, in their abode, and have the fairest of places for repose. 24 And on the Day whereon the heaven shall be rent asunder from the clouds and the angels shall be sent down with a great descending. 25 the true Kingdom on that Day shall belong to the Merciful a harsh day for the unbelievers. 26 The sinner will then bite his hand and say: "Would that I had taken the road with the Prophet. 27 "Ah! Woe to me! Would that I had never taken so-and-so as a friend! 28 Indeed, he led me astray from the remembrance [of God] after it had come unto me!" For [thus it is:] Satan is ever a betrayer of man. 29 And the Messenger will say, "O my Lord, my people had made this Qur'an the object of their ridicule." 30 thus did We assign to every prophet an enemy from among the sinners; your Lord is sufficient as a guide and a helper. 31 And those who disbelieve say: wherefore is the Qur'an not revealed unto him entire at once! Thus - We reveal - that We may establish thy heart therewith; and We have repeated it with a repetition. 32 They bring not to thee any similitude but that We bring thee the truth, and better in exposition. 33 those who are going to be driven to Hell upon their faces, have taken an utterly wrong stand and their way is most erroneous! 34
